Are you trying to be more sustainable in your creativity?
We increasingly desire to use environmentally friendly fibre and yarn to protect our planet.
My mission is to provide sustainable, organic fibre and yarn with a small carbon footprint for all your beautiful, imaginative projects.
I produce sustainable, eco-friendly fibre and yarn from British rare breed sheep, using home-grown plant dyes to create beautiful natural colours.
You can read more about how the washed or unwashed fleece is processed in this article or you can go straight to the shop. Some of the fleece is hand-dyed in the studio with home-grown plant dyes then carded ready for needle-felting, wet-felting or any other crafts.
I want to encourage everyone to have a go at different crafts, whilst being environmentally sustainable, hence the Inform and Inspire blog. I also supply hand-dyed British machine-spun yarn .
To keep up the sustainable theme everything is packaged in recycled card or paper before being sent to you. This is not only good for the environment, it is also the best way to keep your woolly supplies.
Happy Crafting
